Welcome to Forge & Crown Soapworks. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Forge & Crown Soapworks website, your purchase and use of our products, participation in Forge Club, and other services offered through our website.

By accessing our website, placing an order, creating an account, joining Forge Club, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or purchase our products.

1. About Forge & Crown Soapworks

Forge & Crown Soapworks creates handcrafted soaps, men's grooming products, gift sets, seasonal products, and related goods.

Our philosophy is simple: Forged by Hand. Crowned by Quality.

Because many Forge & Crown products are handcrafted in small batches, individual products may naturally vary slightly in color, shape, weight, texture, appearance, fragrance intensity, design, or finish. These variations are part of the handcrafted nature of our products and do not necessarily indicate a defect.

2. Eligibility and Website Use

You may use this website only for lawful purposes. By making a purchase, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and that the information you provide during checkout is accurate and complete.

You may not use our website to engage in fraudulent activity, interfere with the operation or security of the website, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, distribute malicious software, violate another person's rights, or engage in activity prohibited by applicable law.

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect Forge & Crown Soapworks, our customers, or our website.

3. Products and Handmade Variations

We make reasonable efforts to accurately represent our products through photographs, descriptions, ingredient information, weights, dimensions, fragrances, and other information.

However, handcrafted products are inherently unique. Soap bars may differ slightly from photographs shown on our website due to batch variations, curing, natural ingredients, fragrance materials, colorants, additives, hand cutting, lighting, photography, and screen display differences.

Product weights may also vary slightly due to the handmade process and the continued evaporation of water as cold-process soap cures and ages.

These normal handcrafted variations are not considered product defects.

4. Ingredients, Allergies and Skin Sensitivities

Ingredient information is provided to help customers make informed purchasing decisions. Customers are responsible for reviewing product ingredients before use, particularly if they have known allergies or sensitivities.

Individual skin reactions can vary. If irritation or an adverse reaction occurs, discontinue use.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, information provided by Forge & Crown Soapworks regarding ingredients, products, grooming, skin care, or related subjects is provided for general informational purposes and is not intended as medical advice or as a diagnosis, treatment, cure, or prevention of any disease or medical condition.

If you have a medical condition, significant allergy, or concern about whether a product is appropriate for you, consult an appropriate healthcare professional.

5. Product Availability

Many Forge & Crown products are produced in limited or small batches. Availability therefore cannot always be guaranteed.

Products, fragrances, collections, packaging, ingredients, quantities, and availability may change from time to time.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, introduce new formulations, or modify products when reasonably necessary.

6. Pricing

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to change product prices, promotions, shipping charges, subscription pricing, and other charges prospectively.

The price applicable to a one-time order is generally the price displayed when the order is submitted, subject to correction of obvious pricing or technical errors.

Applicable taxes and shipping charges will be displayed during checkout when required.

7. Orders and Payment

Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order because of product availability, suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, payment problems, technical errors, quantity limitations, or other legitimate business reasons.

Payment must be successfully authorized using one of the payment methods available during checkout.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Orders are shipped according to the shipping options and policies displayed on our website.

Estimated shipping and delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees unless expressly stated otherwise.

Forge & Crown Soapworks is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, severe weather, natural disasters, incorrect customer addresses, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address.

Additional shipping terms may be provided in our separate Shipping Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Returns, Refunds and Damaged Products

Because soap and grooming products are personal-care products, return eligibility may be limited for products that have been opened, used, or otherwise cannot reasonably be resold for health or hygiene reasons, except where required by law or where the product is defective or incorrect.

If an order arrives damaged, contains the wrong product, or has another problem, contact Forge & Crown Soapworks promptly with your order information and, when appropriate, photographs of the product and packaging.

Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method.

Our separate Return & Refund Policy, when posted, provides additional terms and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Forge Club Subscription

Forge Club is Forge & Crown Soapworks' recurring subscription program.

When you enroll in Forge Club, you authorize Forge & Crown Soapworks and its payment processor to charge the payment method you provide according to the price and billing frequency disclosed to you when you enroll.

Your Forge Club membership will continue and recurring charges will occur according to your selected subscription until you cancel, unless otherwise disclosed at enrollment.

Before enrolling, customers should review the subscription price, billing frequency, included products or benefits, shipping charges if applicable, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions presented during signup.

Forge Club selections may change based on seasonality, availability, limited production, or the particular subscription offering purchased.

We may substitute a reasonably comparable product when a scheduled item becomes unavailable, where permitted and appropriate for the applicable subscription.

11. Forge Club Cancellation

You may cancel your Forge Club subscription using the cancellation method provided through your account or subscription management system, or another cancellation method expressly provided by Forge & Crown Soapworks.

Cancellation prevents future renewals after the cancellation becomes effective.

If an order has already been processed, charged, packed, or shipped before cancellation becomes effective, that order may still be completed and charged in accordance with the subscription terms disclosed at enrollment.

We do not intentionally make cancellation more difficult than enrollment. Current FTC consumer guidance emphasizes that businesses offering recurring subscriptions should clearly explain recurring billing and provide customers with a straightforward way to cancel.

12. Promotions and Discount Codes

From time to time, Forge & Crown Soapworks may offer discounts, promotional codes, gifts, special bundles, subscriber benefits, or limited-time offers.

Unless otherwise stated, promotions cannot be combined and have no cash value.

Promotional terms may include expiration dates, qualifying purchases, product exclusions, quantity limits, or other restrictions.

We reserve the right to correct or cancel promotions affected by technical errors, fraud, abuse, or unintended duplication.

13. Gift Cards

If Forge & Crown Soapworks offers gift cards, certificates, or store credits, additional terms displayed at purchase may apply.

Gift cards and credits may not be redeemed for cash except where required by applicable law.

14. Intellectual Property

The Forge & Crown Soapworks name, logos, product names, collection names, packaging designs, photographs, graphics, written content, website designs, slogans, and other original brand materials are owned by or licensed to Forge & Crown Soapworks and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

This includes the Forge & Crown brand identity and the tagline:

“For Men Who Build. For Men Who Lead.”

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, commercially exploit, or use our intellectual property without prior written permission except where permitted by law.

15. Customer Reviews and Submitted Content

If you submit a product review, photograph, testimonial, comment, or other content to Forge & Crown Soapworks, you represent that you have the right to provide that material.

You grant Forge & Crown Soapworks permission to use, reproduce, display, and share submitted reviews or content for legitimate business and marketing purposes, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

We will not knowingly publish content that is unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.

16. Third-Party Services

Our website may use or link to third-party services, including payment processors, shipping providers, social-media platforms, analytics providers, and other technology providers.

Forge & Crown Soapworks does not control independent third-party websites or services and is not responsible for their separate content, policies, security practices, or availability.

Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We work to keep the Forge & Crown Soapworks website available and functioning properly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may temporarily suspend, modify, update, or discontinue portions of the website for maintenance, security, technical, operational, or business reasons.

18. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our website and services are provided on an “as available” basis.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, consumer protections, or other rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Product-specific warranties or guarantees, if any, will be expressly stated with the applicable product.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Forge & Crown Soapworks will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of our website, products, or services.

Changes apply prospectively from their effective date unless otherwise required by law.
